im not sure about the battery, i got a yellow top for 2 years now and love it..never crapped out, for the alternater you could find them on e-bay if you want to go cheap..but there must be a place around you that sells and rebuilds alternaters, they will be able to hook you up

I had 2 of the honda/acura Yellow tops crap out on me within a year. now I have one of th elarger ones in the car Barely had enough room to fit it in there. but it fits SNUGLY)
As far as the Alternator goes. I DEFINATELY suggest finding a quality local alternator rebuild company , and having them Re-Wind, or "Step-Up" your alternator. Basicly what they do is replace the insides with new more powerful parts ( in laymans terms) I had my stock 60A alternator re-done , and its now putting out 114A
I hope this helps

Sorry for the long time to reply. I believe my total cost ( with them pulling the alt, and re-installing , after the rebuild) was 186 bucks. not a bad deal, as buying a rebuilt 60A alt was going to run me 120 for the part.
HD

And if they tell you it cant be done on a foreign vehicle they are full of it.. lol .. I have had it done for my Civic, my CRX, and for my Isuzu Rodeo

All worked great!

Stinger makes a great battery for honda/acura. IF im not mistaken its the V935, but i'm not sure. My buddies had one for a while and he loves it. I just picked one up, and in my opinion, its one of the best batteries out there. You can pick one up form cardomain.com for like $99.
