Default car shocks me sometimes when i close the door?

hey guys is it normal for my car to shock me sometimes when i close the door as i leave?
i have noticed that my alarm sometimes won't lock the door and i have to lock it manually, even though the alarm is set. I was replacing my stock speakers today and wearing very thin shoes and socks and as i reached over to turn on my headunit it sort of shocked me a little too. Is anything wrong?

okay, sounds good, i just thought since my alarm was acting up it might be a leakage in the wiring system and most of my sound system was spliced and taped together...

I have same dealio. It never shocked me before my system, and it happens all the time now whether its rain snow or dry. But if I step out of my car, and when feet on the ground, touch my seat or the plastic part of the door, then close my door, i dont get shocked. It's just static discharges, nothing bad, but i dont know how to stop it. But i do this, and i dont have to worry about it now.
