i do carry one and i havent mounted it yet but im going to put it infront of the shifter in the cubbyhole cause mine is pretty small and also have a question i wanted mine for a pa system and having trouble on where to put the speaker any ideas

Just find an empty space under the hood to mount the speaker.

i think im gonna try to find a hand-held. any opinions? i cant find anywhere to mount a normal one, but im thinkin i might end up getting the center console from a jdm civic armrest and mount it in there.

CB antennas aren't necessarily super long...you can get them long but they also have normal size ones...also i have used hand held cbs and they are pretty nice..actually my dad just picked one up from a buddy...he has it in his truck now....they are good for anything close...2 miles or so

I'm gonna mount my on top of the dash...:-D Gonna look like a hybrid of a radar detector and a large alarm clock, but who cares...I'm gonna think it into the interior I'm working on...And the antenna I'm getting(laugh all you want) is a huge whip-like one from a HUMVEE :-D

my antanna is about a foot long and is magnetic and lights up neon blue when you transmit along with my cb it illuminates blue its nice since im going to do my interior blue

I've been wonding/thinking about getting for a while now... how do you know what channel to be on? do they scan? What features should I look for?
