Default Which cd deck?

So! More cd problems XD I had to call the place I ordered the cable from (that changed my DIN connecter to rca audio) to find out (four days after I ordered it) that they no longer made the item. I love wonderful customer support lol. So! I NEED cheap but good deck with an aux input, I quickly picked out these 5 decks, anyone's opinions? Does anyone else have any ideas? I'm trying to keep it below 120 (or around).

I still want good audio quality (my panasonic cd-df402u is really good), but I still have a budget. If I get a new one, just some warning for someone who might be looking, I'll be selling my current deck.

To be honest you won't see a difference in sound quality from a 100 dollar deck to a 500 dollar deck at times
It's really hard to tell unless you have a keen ear
it's not an issue until you start amplifying your system, THEN that's when you need a good HU and you'll be able to notice differences in sound quality, and the ability of an HU to control everything
I would personally go with the pioneer
pioneer and alpine are the only ones you should really ever consider
also, the aux input on pioneer head units can be hacked so that you don't need to buy an adapter
i dont know if it's illegal for me to say that or not
ahhhh my years of curiousity with audio <3

yup I vote this one http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...H-P3900MP.html

3 preamp outputs so you get a sub channel and a front aux input. And pioneer is a good product I've had several.

I reccomend the pioneer as well, not from experience, but from the literature i have read, looks the best. Not a personal fan of Sony/Panasonic by experience.

Imashrazy, what do you mean by hack the so you don't have to buy an adapter? What adapter would you need for a 1/8" aux input?

The aux input unfortunately is NOT what you think it is for most CD players

sorry bout the size of this image but it's the only one I can find, it's the back of a pioneer HU, the 6700, my old model in fact

On the back of this, you can see the RCA outputs on the left, a large gaping hole to the farthest left (antenna), the wire access above the fuse for door speakers and power etc, then that blue thing right there, is the aux input. The black hole to the right is digital signal, not aux input unfortunately. The "hack" is to use a certain set of those pins in a certain order right from an 1/8th jack.

Kind of like this

otherwise you have to buy a wire
it's like this with a lot of other CD players too
pioneers i know how to hack though

Noooo lol, I meant 1/8" aux input on the front, like a headphone jack. Those are the ones that are meant for Ipods that you can control from the cd deck. I have a zune so I'm not worried about that, I know I won't find anything for that.

Well the pioneer I posted has the 1/8" in the front...and the price is right for all the options available....plus I've heard nothing but good things about that site.....I never would have thought to look at newegg for car audio.

Newegg is my source for everything when I am building a computer...I just never though of it for car audio....I'll probably go with that pioneer myself...I'm in need of something for mp3's.
