Has any one had much experience with clarion pro audio amps? and subs?

 

I used to run all clarion gear... I got fed up with the amps blowing up on me. They always got warrantied but it was a pain in the ***. I think I blew up 4 amps and 2 subs all in 1 year.

wha? I gone through like 3 and they never gave me a lick. Hell, im runing one right now.[8D]

 

Ya I was in good with the local distributor so I just got new amps when they blew up. I work at a Stereo Shop part time. In the end it just was to much of a hassle.

clarion are for boats , just like jbl is for houses

 

They seem to have good head units.

 

Rockford Fosgate is for boats.

 

well, RF is in boats as well yes..but at best, you want kicker..kicker is best

 

*agree. i like kicker myself.. my new 700.5 is on its way as i type this.. should have no later than Wed.. cant wait.. its going to power my Kicker LR5 10" Solo Baric and my Kicker SSMB6's .. and *cough my Audobahn 3 ways in front .. Kicker charges too much for 3 way component setup .. haha .. but the Audiobahns sound good for only 200 bucks .. got them on good deal for last year model

 

Kicker is nowhere near the best. You show me a Kicker product and give it's retail price and I will show you something that is better for cheaper
