The gauge cluster is for the 99's and i haven't decided if i want to do it. I have a 95 civic ex. Its different for the hatchbacks than it is for the sedans and coupes.

THE KID if you are interested let me know i can tell you what you need to do. It took me a long time because i didn't know what to do.

you will need glue which ever one you want. I used guerilla glue. Addiction used a glue gun. You will need a flat head screwdriver and a philips head screwdriver. Make sure you have lots of free time to do this. It took me a long time. First you need to take off the plastic face where your cigarette lighter is. There are 2 on the top and one on each side towards the bottom. then pull that off. Pull your ebrake while doing this because you will need to get under your climate control and you will need a light in there to see what you are doing. I found lots of suprises. When you take out your cd player take out the cage for it 2. when you are under there you will see a screw in the back that you need to pull out. It will be the farthist one from the climate control. Once you take that out. Take out the other screws there wil be 6 more to take out. 3 on each side. They will be hard to get to and hard to see. I found the putting the seats all the way back and reclining them helped. The 6 screws are closest to you. 2 will be on the far left one in front of the other. 2 will be on the far right one in front of the other. It will be hard to get the last 2 that will be on each side they will be hidden but they will be next to the ones you just took out. They are diagnolly in there. After you take all those out. You will see a metal piece that is connected to the heat control. It is also connected to a black cable. Pull the pieces off the front for the heat control and fan. They pop off. Then go back under and you will see that piece and it will be held there by a plastic nut looking thing. Twist it and it will come off. when its off the plastic bracket. Pull it away from you so you can disconnect it from the heater control. Then take the metal piece off and pull it off of the black cable. You then have to get the black cable out of the bracket that it is in. I kinda forced mine to much and broke a little piece off but it still works. Then you will see in the corner the black module that controls the fan. Push both those clips on the side and it will push out of the main bracket. The metal piece will go with it. then you can start to pull it out. But only far enough for you to see the green connector that is on the top of it.. You have to use a flat head to push in the clip and then pull it out. After that it will come right out. The entire unit. Then dissassemble it and follow picture. from addictions. Only use the pictures that show the climate control don't worry about the rest. When your done with that just do the reverse when putting it back in. Putting it in is harder than pulling it out because you have to get that green connector back in. Post here or pm me if you have problems.

looks good. i still have yet to instal mine spent quite a bit of time lately plowing snow and its just to cold out thier to mess with it just yet....

ill pop up some pictures when i do my EG cluster.... i think it will be preaty much the same cause the internals are just about the same as the EK clusters. i had them apart once when i replaced the speedo part.
only thing that looks different is the EG cluster looks to have a gap around the bezel and gauges, probably cause the EKs have 2 lights layed out infront of the gauges. so i think if anything the gauges will have more light on the outside for the needles. time will tell when i do mine sometime. i would modify my spare cluster but its from a DX and the internals are different so the gauges wont swap over into them
