Custom Sirius Mount Install
Figured I would show you guys my goal for the week. I did a custom mountSirius Install with a Sportster 4 in a spot better than the ones they offered online. Plus, it cost me less than $1Check it out here are the photos.
If any of you are interested enough, let me know and I will do a DIY for it. It only took about an hour and it was cheap so there ya go.
( I think I embedded the pics right, if not I will have to edit the post)

RE: Custom Sirius Mount Install
Yeah that's exactly where mine is mounted. It just looks so much better in that spot than up in the window or on top of the dashboard. Plus its less visible to theives and less of a distraction when driving. Too bad I was to lazy to install it myself tho lol

Thanks guys. Next step is to add an additional outlet behind the cover so you dont see it plugged in. I just have to get the additional outlet and the time to do it.

what we do at work is hard wire the plug .... then you dont see any wires and dont have to worry about it getting unplugged...
all you have to do is crack the plug open and solder two wires on to the bored then hook em up to a switched 12 volts and a ground and your golden....you have to use the plug because it steps it down to 5 volts..it only takes about 5 minutes to do. just thought i'd throw my 2 cents in...
