yea i forgot to mention the vent blocking that does suck ecspeacialy in the winter the heat blows directly on the back of the screen you can tilt the vents away but it still heats up the back its really hard to keep it shut knowing theres a beautiful screen in there with touch screen.

well see i dont believe that myself... if your watching a video of any type other than the in navigation mode....
i can buy a add-on navigation for my alpine and that doesnt mean i cannt get ticketed if im watching a video.

The difference is that mine looks like it came with the car and looks OEM and not some crappy flip out thing that is just meant for music, and videos. I have asked every officer i have talked to and they have asked me what it is and i explained that its not just for video its a computer that is navigation, phone, music, engine management, internet and they think its oem at that point. I have been stopped while playing videos and they dont care as it looks like it was meant to be there.

every state has diffrent laws but it doesn't matter what your watching video on your still being distracted regardless and thats what matters maybe the cops in your town are idiots .if it was oem it would not allow you to watch video in drive unless tamperd with.i mean come on if you can't talk on a phone while you drive what makes you think you can watch tha fast and furious ????????

you can watch videos on a stock OEM navi unit from other car manufacturers, and i dont watch movies while i drive there is a difference between videos which just play and listen to the music and to show off and movies. I hardly ever have any videos playing anyways just my 40,000 mp3's

nope not the case at all i am working on integrating a car pc with a TL navi unit and it doesn't need to be in park at all for videos and hasnt been rigged this isnt some cheap headunit that you buy at best buy they cost thousands of dollars. Hence why it sucks to work on them and coding stuff to work with them
