ALright Heres the plan.
I am soon investing in on a In dash video screen along with a dvd player. I have a 98 Civic Lx with single din on console and single din under console alone the cup holders. I am trying to decide on what to get in regards to screen and where from. I have checked ebay on IN dash video screens and have found a number of great deals but I am skeptical on whether or not to get them considering brand and self installation, which would not be a huge problem. But I am having a problem deciding the pros and cons.

It has a very nice price. Dvd player, and the part that most interests me is the USB slot and Card slot which interests me because i always carry a camera in the car. But then again it is not touchscreen.

This one is also nice but only feature is touchscreen. Not major factor in buying just something nice to have yah know.

I mean its a brand I know and i trust the installation of it.

So any input on my decision. Im trying to find a decent deal in regards to features and price. Upon installation I am going to install a ps2 and invest in a GPS unit after wards. I would rather have a mobile gps unit so I can use it in other cars. Im trying to balance out money, features and future investments in this buy. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Why is everyone so excited about ebay!? Dont buy something you cant see... do you have CarToys there? FInd a CAR AUDIO store somewhere, they will be cheaper than a big marketing company like compusa or best buy

edit: well considering i live in jersey they dont have better prices unless im blind? they are at least a hundred more thant circuit city and on ebay and dont even compare to selection.

 

nono... just qualtiy over ebay... safer with an actual walk in store... if you find a good deal with bestbuy then go for it... but if you find a smaller car audio shop that doesnt have a big marketing budget you will see that their product is much cheaper... as for great install quality, I waste my money at cartoys!

 

Yeah i know what you mean =P thats what Im asking around for. Friend got one so ill see how it is but i do feel alot safer when i get it at a big store like circuit city and the install is always great. just wondering if a price gap of about 200 + is worth the investment know what i mean

 

Yeah that is true... circuit city and best buy probably have incredible warranty and return policy! But saving a couple hundred dollars is still a great deal! Cutting corners is never a bad thing unless it is on ebay!
