Hi Guys,

Im trying to install a double din reciever in my 2005 civic with this dash kit (http://www.amazon.com/Metra-95-7899-.../dp/B001JT12OO)

What im looking for is
iPod compatibility
touch screen
double din

and thats basically my only requirement.

any suggestions?

 

you dont need that dash kit... if i am not mistaken one din is for stereos that are i believe 2.5'' high, and double din is of course twice as big. here's a one din stereo>

that one you posted in the link is to convert it to 2, so you can have a cd player AND something else like a guage holder or something. if you want a double din touch screen, you wont need that because you will want the double din that you have now.

 

just like supersize said, i got a pic to show how i have mine set up. its a one din.

 

you have what m@nny has, only manny has that kit that you posted and it converted his to 2 single dins.. if you want a double din, you need to keep it the way you have it now.
