Default Easiest way to remove the rear deck? 99 coupe

Hey just wondering the best way to get the rear deck off so i can get to the rear speakers? i've looked at it and the only way i can see looks hard as hell. Just wondering if anyones got some bright idea's theyd like to share?

loosen that black metal thing, then unhinge the clips behind the seats
then the rest is also a bitch since there's overlap with the other decks

dito theres no easy way........ its a HUGE PITA.... so what i would sugest is when you do get it all swaped out then this time mount your new speakers from the botom

actually here's an idea
glue or somehow attach a nut to each hole in the 6x9 or w/e speaker choice
that way, you can screw the screw in from the trunk
rather than inside the car

ya thats what i ment.... tho i prefere SHORT self taping screws. a nut thats been glued on can spin.... and then you have to go thru all that trouble again if you ever have problem with the speaker or what not...

I have a 98 so I dont know how much of a difference there is.

The side panels overlap the rear deck, I was able to bend mine enough to just pull it out.
Putting it back in was no problem. The thing will bend alot without breaking.

K well i'll give all that a try, i really just need to get the bitch to stop rattling every time my subs hit. I dynamated the whole trunk, and its quite as can be, but i spent a lot of money so i'd really like to have no rattling. lol
