A few questions about component install in my 2000 civic
i would only deaden the metal parts... mainly on my dx i need to deaden the rear wheel arch areas... just because when i drive in the rain its very noticable... i dont know why because my 99ex doesnt have that much of a exterior noise from the rear....
deadener does help block exterior noise pretty nicely....

I've been known to use screws and bolts in place of panel clips too
Believe it or not, my 1997 Civic has less squeaks, clicks, and rattles on the inside than my 2006 Mustang GT does! Unfortunately, like addiction2bass, I need to deal with the rear deck plastic piece on my Civic too. I see bolts and foam in its future as well as some deadening on the sheet metal! The only difference is once the stock 6x9s come out, nothing is going back in!

well next time i pull my rear deck im definatly going to mount the 6x9s from the rear so i can quickly swap them out myself from the bottom.... im keeping my nice 6x9s in the 99civic because i dont feel like pulling the rear deck again
