Default Fiberglassing?

Does anyone know how to fiberglass and is willing to explain it?...I would really like to learn, I'm sick of building wooden boxes.

agreed^^ that site is really good, he shows step by step..its hard to start tho man, i have a fiberglass box and pod piller i made and for supplys your looking to spend around $250 then it takes MANY hours to build, plus if your going to paint it..it takes about 50 more hours to sand it all down perfect..till you put primer on it and see all the imperfections, and then spend another 20 hours...haha, ya its what i had to go through, my friend does fiberglassing and he walked me thought it all, else i would of been sooo lost

its fun tho, and you can get pretty creative with things to build

^ ya. there are no shortcuts in fiber building. Its also expensive because fiber glass is on a shortage right now. old fiber glass boats are being bought up like cookies and sold for their fiber glass to reuse.

to add to that^ , if your going to get materials..dont go down to your local hardware store, look in the phone book and find a place that sells fiberglass to people who build boats and such, a place were they only deal fiberglass, because in getting such a small amount to build a box it will be DIRT cheap..thats were i got all my fiberglass from and it was soo cheap compared to as if i were to buy it at a hardware store, and they will be able to help you better with any questions as well
