I think its pretty cool, but I have never seen anyone put 6 x 9's in a sub box. Andalso, I have never heard of Visionik... are they any good? By comparison, I'd guess those are 12" subs...?

haha I havent watched that show in ages. The last one I saw was the one with Arnold on it, and the bio-diesel impala or something like that.

Thats also a nice looking box. I tired to make one in shop class last year, and It looked like it was done while I was drunk... I sold the box after, lol

I had a set of those 6x9's in my caddy back in the day, pretty good. I would not run them in the sub box though as you are getting canclation and when you are ready to upgrade on the subs and such get at me on aim and I'll help ya out.

thanks marty......

yeah..my friend whos a professional carpender came over and helped me build it....it was a fun project...i had a 15" sub box back there when i bought it..which was porly built...so he came over and ripped that out and then started measureing and we came up with this fat *** box which is in there now...but eventually ill wanna get some trunk space back and look into getting a sub that hits a little harder and loose the fat box..but for now this thing works pretty well...and im likin it for now.

just so you know, if those woofers are not seperatley enclosed from the rest of the box, the box is doing no good with those open holes for the speakers... plus you will blow your new(er) speakers' surround foam if you play the subs hard enough... like I said, just so you know,

if it's a common chamber box the 6x9s are gonna act like a passive radiator and your gonna lose output and response.....
it will sound like a poorly built leaky a$$ box..... i'm not trying to be a dick..just trying to help you get the most out of what you have...

i know,

when i built this box it was before i knew anything about audio and my mindset was...More speakers...better sound...so me and my friend whos a carpender built up this box and put some speakers in it...It sounds great compared to what i had in it before....so i have no problems there..Eventually I wanna drop this big box in the river and go for 2 12's in the back, and 2 6x9s somewhere else....so...yeh..thanks for your imput..but i just wanted to show off
