Hey i have a 97 civic hatchback and i am thinking about installing of of these double din sized head units

i recently saw a civic on ebay with one of these headunits fitted bt i cant remember how or where? it looked ace just wondering? can anyone help?

 

It can be done, either making a custom mounting for it with the lower part of your centre console, u may also be able to buy a double din one off the shelf, but the only one's ive seen are expensive carbon firbe.

 

You are going to need to convert your center console to a 99-00 civic. Its a simple swap. THe 99-00 have a double din opening so it will fit beautifully. I plan on getting one soon.
