So yea I bought a new antenna for my 93' civic ex because the the old one got bent (oops-there went reception), and I'm having a very difficult time installing it. When I was pulling out the old one, I tied a string to it like the instructions said to run a new one. All was well until I pulled too hard and the plug part pulled out of the wire. My string fell, and I'm having a very difficult time figuring out where the antenna wire is supposed to come in from the pillar at. My instructions said there is supposed to be a 3" diameter hole under my dash, but I sure can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is going to take some time complete if you havent done this before its going to take 30 minutes

1* you ll need something long like a coat hanger and just as stiff ( get your head out of the gutter)

2* getting it in through the top is easy , when trying to find it at the bottom you ll need to look around the kick panel to find it , when using the coat hanger and you see it at the bottom you ll have to pull it towards you and it will bend that's OK if it does

3* once you get it tape a piece of wire ( 6 feetof wire )to the hanger and then pull it out ( when taping make sure its a stiff taping , give it a good tug to make sure it doesnt pull off

4* once the wires out tape the end of the new antena real good and pull the other end of the wire through the kick panel , it might grab on the sheet metal on the way down when your pulling the wire when it does that tug on each side to set it free
