sorry i dont have a pic or anything to post but you can google it or what not to get a pic and everyhting about it....he says its basically brand new he wants 25.00 bucks for it...its a jvc kd-s5050 thanks for the feed back

Definitely an entry-level unit. You can buy something similar right from a store for about $69 or less. It will not play MP3 files on the CD, only ordinary CDs. It does not appear to have line input for connecting an ipod or similar device. Having only a rear line out, it is not intended to be used with a subwoofer system.

Well yeah you'll hear some music, but if you want to do anything fancy at all (the OP was considering adding a sub in the near future) you'll have to replace it. Might as well put your $25 toward something better in the first place.
