yeah, but it could get damaged in the mail, or it could be defective, so it's a lot harder to get good service and communication through a monitor rather than face to face (you know, that's how they did it before the dawn of the internet, in the good ole days)

#1 stuff is cheaper online
#2 you always have the, usually, 1 year warranty with the company
#3 just don't try to break it and most of the time it'll stay fine for as long as you have it
#4 I like ebay btw

all good arguments, but not everyone thinks the same way you do.

some people would argue:
#1 stores sometimes have sales, and no shipping
#2 you can have the store warranty of more than one year, plus instant switchout b/c there isn't any shipping
#3 if it does break, again, you won't have to mail it off and wait a long time
#4 a lot of people also get scammed on ebay without any compensation from ebay or paypal, so some people are sceptics.
#5 you know where the store is, you don't know where the "ebay store" is

imo, they're not total crap, it's just in a performance perspective, they aren't that great. jensens do last a very long time though because most of them don't run as hot as many top of the line models. if anything, run with a good: jvc, sony, alpine, kenwood, or equivilent.
