Default Harman Kardon Drive

I decided to take the HK drive for my iPod from the rsx and move it into the civic. but I'm having a hard time deciding where to install/place the display. I took a few pictures and was wondering if you all can help me decide where to place the display.
This is on the left top part of the dash

or where the pocket is right next to the radio but inside. so the pocket will not be there instead I'll make a cover for it

that's the display for the harman kardon drive+play display. It's used so that I can see what song is playing and change the setting without looking at my iPod. Just connect and use a little scroll **** that functions like the scroll dial on the iPod to change songs and settings.
This is what it looks like, this is the first one they came out with, the second one that they have out is a lot better but I would rather buy a new headunit. I got the one I have for $20

Here's a link of what it is

edit:trustdestruction---thanks for the response...i was leaning towards that location
