Head Unit 2002 civic
In my 2002 civic ex im looking at a new head unit.
Looking on best buy i figured i would enter in the vehicle information and see what ones would fit, well best buy says nothing fits. I thought any head unit would fit....is that correct? if not what head units WILL fit?

Yes, most headunits will fit.
Some say double din, those will not fit with a kit housing that is used for single din, therefore you will have to do some modification.
I don't think best buy sells a single headunit that would not fit your car.
They just don't have a big enough selection to run into a problem like that.

Yes, that is called the 'fit kit'
You do need one obviously.
(It will replace the lower closing tray as well and give you an open tray)
I think it's just the bestbuy website messing up.
Look on here woofersetc.com
They have more items than bestbuy could ever dream of.

Honestly, the Best Buy fit guide is complete crap.
Also, the people in the car audio aren't usually much of a help either, they will look it up and tell you the same crap (I know, I work at the Best Buy).
Your best BET is to look on crutchfield's fit guide. It is more accurate and will tell you more details (like how 5.25" speakers in a 5th gen coupe aren't 5.25" in fitment.....)
