Ok so I finally got a Bomb deal on a head unit for the new civic (04 EX) now my question is where do I find the kit that goes in your dash to put the head until into can I just get the standard one @ walmart for Honda's or since it's a newer car will it still fit? HELP me out here[sm=feedback.gif]

oh ya... the kits are available at any electronics store.... don't go to wal-mart, I don't trust their stuff. Circuit city, Best Buy, Good Guys.
you're lookin at spending $34 plus tax for these things, or get them on ebay for like 8 bucks a piece.

I went to walmart & they don't have the stuff I need & I sure wasn't diggin through the pile of ISH they had for an electronics Isle what a mess, So then I go to Bestbuy & I'm in the Car Audio section & I asked the guy where they stock the enclosure's for the 04 civic aftermarket head unit install he said in the garage & at the time I was holding the wiring harness in my hand which was the correct one & he snatched it out of my hand & said; You don't need that it's not going to work I said yes it is he was like well no you don't know what you need I said I beg to differ you think just cause I'm a female I don't know what I need, simply you are a f***in queer & you need to get a job somewhere else so I reported that to a manager & told the manager it's not the first time I have dealt with an incompitent employee at that best buy location & that his customer service SUCKS & I won't be going back so I will likely go to Circuit city...

Thanks, I have learned that this world is not always female friendly.. Say I go to a shop to get an oil change, they try to sell me every freaking gadget & "so called incentive" under the sun... I'm like I don't need that to make my car run but thanks for trying toup your commision this month[8D] My service advisor loved me after we had that conversation & I got a free oil change & interior detail for it... He even call me to remind me that it's time for another oil change...

wal-mart has had every harness iv needed. it is all the same thing. if your walmart doesnt have it then that does suck, but dont inform people to go outta their way and avoid walmart just because u had a bad time there. ANY major electronics store is going to have stuff, just look around in ur area, u will find what is needed.

And yes, FYI- "Installers" at best buy and circut ****ty are mostly pot head wanna be's. dont trust them with anthing more then a head unit install. I go there when i get real bored and start quizzing them on audio, its quite funny to see them squerm." uh..uh...we have pioneer and uh..dual..those are kick ***"
