Default headunits?

i have narrowed my choices down to 3 headunits...thats IF i dont find more i really like. so here is my top 3 choices. Alpine CDA-9835, Alpine CDA-9855 ( its new and im not real sure about all that touch stuff ), and a Kenwood KDC-X879. if anybody has any of these i would like to know how good they are and if you know about them i would like to know which one is the best. thanks for any input.

Listen dude. Get something that you will enjoy. Dont get raccoon syndrome over Alpines and Kenwoods. Get something that wont distract you and yet has great high quality AND something thats simple to operate. I have been using Eclipse's in most of my audio life because they are simple, suddle, and sound awesome. They dont even distort at max volume. They look great too! And best of all is that they have the best theft deterrant system than any other head unit. For example: If you bought one at a certified dealer and it got stolen, not only will it not work but it can be TRACED to the sorry son of a *itch! Check it out. I promise you will consider it after you read up on it. Ask around about me, I know my $hit.

If you are going with the Alpine HU w/ glide touch, i would research it a bit more. I have read A LOT of threads about problems with those models. From what i have read stay away from the units produced before Feb 2005 w/ glide touch. Alpine is gettin a lot of returns. Ask the dealer or call alpine about it.

I have the Alpine 9851 and have had no problems.. but its not the glide either.

Check out the threads here to see what im talking about
