I'm sorry Remmy. I checked all of my connections and they are fine. It cannot be the impedance issue becuase the same amp and speakers worked for a year before i took them out to build a new box. When put into the new box the prot. light comes on when the bass hits. Any other possibilities?

amp is defective or like remmy said bad ground. short on the remote turn on wire???
