Default help with deck

My deck has been working fine for about 3 months now. and yesterday it just starts turning off when i am driving. it turns off and shuts off for about 10 seconds and turns back on. but today while driving it turns off and stays off for a long time and it starts back up but then turns right off again. any idea whats wrong? i checked the wires in the back and there are none that came off.

If all the wiring is right, it sounds like its overheating, or a constant, acc or ground is coming loose somewhere besides behind the unit. When it shuts off, is it hot? Does it turn off after you hit a bump?

I don't think it overheat since I just turned on my car and it already starts to shut off. I don't know if it turns off when I hit a bump but when I'm just driving on a smooth road it turns off sometimes too. T

Many decks will shut down if they detect a short in any of the speaker wires. Check that none of the speaker wires can touch each other or ground.

Intermittent problems can be really hard to find. You could try disconnecting all the speaker wires behind the deck and insulate them. Then test-drive (with no speakers playing of course) and see if the deck stays on. This will tell you if the problem is a short in the speaker wires or something else.
