Default Honda Cd Changer

Ok, my first post. As usual, I am in need of help from the experts. I own a 05 Hybrid (cool ride w/47.5mpg ave) and I want to add a CD changer. I have purchased Honda model #08A06-3E1-300. Everything that I read says it is for the 06 models. The 05 calls out for model #08A06-3B1-300. When I compare the units (online) I cannot find the diferance. Will the 3E1 work in my 05 Civic.

Much thanks -

Are you saying the connection butts are the same? Wouldnt hurt to try it. Grab a volt meter to find out if they share the same pin configuration.

I do not know if they are the same. Good point about the volt meter. I will wait and see if it works. If not, I am sure that there is a 06 owner who could use it.
