I disagree, it makes it a helluva lot easier when you have to take off your door panel. I don't want to splice every time.

What a waste of money is for you isn't a waste of money for the next. That's the great thing about life, we are all different and think different.

why would u be taking the door panels off constatly...........u take em off and throw the new speakers in........then u remove the panel again when u wanna replace the speaker with the stock speakers.....................you could just cut the clip leaving excess wire so when u wanted to hook it back up u could put the clip back............theres no need to waste money on stupid stuff like that, its just unecessary[sm=icon_rock.gif] ive got a very hi performance sound system im my car and none of those clips seem to be important.

Keep it clean. That's the simple asnwer. I don't know about you, but everything I have is clean and is done the right way. You don't even use a harness for your head unit? When you talk about saving money, you act as if the harness is expensive? It's cheap. And a lot of places include the harness for free with your purchase. There is a reason that places like Best Buy GIVE you a harness in the install.....

I did use a harness for my headunit..........no harness used for my speakers on the interior......alll of the speakers on the interior have new wire (I upgraded the gauges of wire).....and i SODDERED everything properly. I will bet any denomination of money that my soddering job will conduct much better electrocity than your "Clips"........lol
