how do u install 6 x 9 speakers in a 02 civic
does it have a mount for 6x9's?? or is it 6.5's. If its 6.5's, install those and dont waste your time or money on 6x9's, they offer no advantage over 6.5's other than inferior shape and added distortion. 6.5's FTW.
(to answer your ? without being a diak, measure the mount of your 6x9's, and make a template, trace and cut, have fun)
but i highly recomend not using 6x9 if at all possible

ya i have 6x9s in the back of my car...ya thats stock size....i dunno why tho every store or site says that 6x9s wont fit my car but thats what i got back there....and my 6.5 componnts in the front are louder and clearer than the 6x9s
Take the back seat out, along with the backrests, there will be 2 bolts on the back of the left backrest as you are looking at them then should just slide right out. Next take the C pillars off, and finally the deck molding off. All of it is pushpins so just pop that sucker off. It's really tight working back there, my Infinities are only held in by 3 screws, couldn't get the 4th one in, *shrug* doesn't affect the sound; not that I can tell anyway.
