Default how long of cables needed for amp install?

I'm goin to be helping a buddy install an amp in his 97 sedan ex. I'm just curious of how long of power cable, and RCA cables will be needed to run from batter/headunit to the truck? We found a kit for a great price, with a 14' power cable, i'm just kinda curious if this will be long enough. Anyone have any experience?

Yeah, 14' should be good. Usually kits are 15' for the power and 10 or 12' for the RCA.

Welcome to HCF, by the way.

Well, I like to have at least 16' for power, and 14-15' for remote and rca. And about 4' for ground.
