How do i go about removing the stock headunit from a 01 civic sedan? I'm used to screws in the obvious places but i got nothing here... any advise on where to start yanking would be great!

 

Heres some advice: Look in this section for info, this has been asked and answered about 3 times as far as I can remember.

 

You really should refer to a repair manual before you start "yanking" on anything. You surely don't want to mess up that beautiful interior now do you? I remember a while back when I wasn't very car savvy this guy was trying to help me install my first aftermarket head unit, he damn near tore out the entire assembly that holds the AC controls, head unit, and Hazard light controls on my 00 civic. So get yourself a 20 dollar repair manual to refer to, it's cheap!!
