Default I bought new gauges

Okay so I bought these gauges off ebay kinda out of curiosity... I really like them but I dont understand how to install them. And I dont understand how they will turn blue when they are white? That's why I bought them... how hard are they to install and what kind of tips do you have for me?

realy quite easy.....

on those overlays you dont need to remove the needles... if you remove the needles they will break!!!!!!!

it says not to move the gas gauge needle... so if i was you us wait till your gas tank is at 3/4ths..... that way you can move the speedo needle so its at about 45MPH or so... and simply slide the overlay with both needles thru the holes being carefull NOT to bend the needles! you can bend the overlay preaty easy and dont worry about that! it wont break!

and do with the left side temp and tach i dont see any reason why moving the needles would be a problem to move them the same style as the other side and slide em over them....

almost forgot BEFORE ya start sliding them over be sure to remove those 2 screws on the stock gauges.... and once you slide the overlays on the gauges put those screws back in.. .which will hold the overlays inplace....

and JUST INCASE your needles seem to catch in certain areas when driving... you may need to remove the overlays and put down some rubber cement or some type of thin adheasive glue.... BUT rubber cement id asume would be best due to the fact that you can simply remove the glue by rubben it off any other harsh hard glues would trash your stock gauges if you ever wanted to remove them......

preaty simple tho... just be easy and take your time sliding them on....
unless you realy want to throw away money to have someone else instal them...

Yeah, I installed these for my dx, the simple cluster version. I don't know how hard it is to get your newer dash cover off, but it wasn't that hard for me.

They look pretty nice at night..

They come with a little remote, or should, that you will have to mount somewhere around the dash, or under the stereo area somewhere, it has a long wire that you can run to a 12V power and ground, and a little box should be inline to control the voltages into the overlays. Mine can be switched from blue to green, not sure if that one can or not.

As far as wiring them, its cake, and we can help you!
