I have a Panasonic 50x4 deck, 2 12 inch 1000 watt JBL competition subs and a 800 watt 12 inch kenwood tornado series, a 700 watt mono bazooka and a kenwood 250 watt 2 channel and I'm running 12 gauge wire from the amps to the subs and 4 gauge power wire. What do you guys think?

 

well when u say 1000 watt JBL competetion speakers it really means otherwise. If u gave those subs 1000 watts of real power theyd fry lol...........not bad i guess for a start but i dont prefer any of those brands. Headunits im either with pioneer or alpine......im sure ur car is loud as crap......but prolly not to clear............but i guess if thats how ya lik it.

 

jbl should stick with theater speekers, they rule there.

bazooka? how does that fit in? they have got to be the worst thing on the market for quality! dont tell me you have them pointing away from you, so everybody can hear how loud you are, but you cant hear them yourself? i hate that. stereo should be for your listening pleasure, if ne1 else hears it so be it, as long as it was installed for your ears in mind and not to impress people walking on the street... ummm....did i get carried away? sorry about that. just seems like alot of wattage and lowend quality stuff for a music lover, but i have been mistaken before

 

haha that system sounds like it would be fun to wake up the neighbors. eventually you are going to want to get a system that you can enjoy in your car. as far as that bazooka comment, Im buddies with a dude who works at circit city and he says its actually pretty decent.... its kinda funny cuz its the Pmiller series... and one would expect it to suck ballllz, but the amp has a lot of positive feedback. i say go with what works and sounds good.
