Default install prices????

I got an Infinity Basslink II for xmas and was just wondering what a decent price for the install is. If you don't know, the Basslink is a 10 in sub, amp, and box all in one. It also comes with the remote that I hope to get installed as well. Just looking for ballpark figures here so I know if I'm getting ripped off or not. The car is a 98 ex 4 door so the install shouldn't be too complicated. Lastly, no one try to convince me to DIY...i've read a million of them and would just rather have it professionaly done for quality and money reasons. Thanks for your input!

Funny that is the exact reason I do install stuff myself

Anything over $70 and you are getting raped. But $20 wiring kit from walmart, and about 1 hour of work and you'll have a quality install you did right yourself.

if i were you, i'd do it myself. I've repaired alot of system installs that local shops did, because they try to install it the fastest they can to make more money, and they don't care about how good of a job they do, as long as it works. But that's just down here, I bet there is alot of shops that take the time too did it right, just be sure to check around. if you would decide to do it yourself, it is very easy to do, it's just a basic amp install, everything is already assembled together.

The thing i'm worried most about is connecting to the power. I wouldn't know how to get wires through to the battery at the front of the car. I'm not retarded so I can splice wires to the back rear speakers (I've heard I might want to use a line level converter for that so I won't blow the amp) and I can obviously ground and mount it. It's really just the power and if I was to mount the remote on my dash somewhere, I wouldn't know how to get wires through to there. I think I'm going to call around today and see what kind of prices I can get but if you guys want to keep trying to convince me...it may work! BTW, I called Tweeter and their new policy is that they only install stuff that they sell...way to go...[sm=boosign.gif]
