Just bought car- Electrical Problems- Help!
Hi,
I just bought a 96 civic 2dr, and I plugged in my ipod adapeter to the lighter outlet and the fuse blew in the ipod adapter. I checked on the back and the fuse is 2 amp, so replaced it and blew again. I tested the circuit, but i only have a voltage tester and I am reading 14 volts, which I thought it was supposed to be 12?
Do any of you'se think there could be a short inside the car or lighter outlet?
- Also the ipod adapter does work in other cars too, first time trying it in honda,
