Hi...I was these two 12s of dual brand and they sound ok but I heard kicker was better....true?

 

Dual is a brand you would find at a flea market. Theyre horrible. Equal to pyle or pyrmid. 100% Junk. Kicker is a known reliable name, products will cost more, but you get what you pay for.

 

Kicker is Leet.. Dual i wouldnt even compare these 2... They are nothing alike in the sound deperment..
I hope you didnt get ripped off buy spending alot of money on then 12 you just bought...... Save your money and buy some quality stuff......

Kicker>Dual for sure, but there are many other sub choices that are better than Kicker imho.

 

i would deff. have to say the kickers would be better. Are the dual sub's in a bandpass box??? and if you already have them you mine as well use them till you can get something better because some bass is better than no bass.

 

i would even go for something better then kicker if you ask me. but if you want kicker or dual...go kicker.

Kicker > Dual allllll day, Dual is crap for sure. but IMO Alpine is great

 

I agree with FlipHKD. Alpine is very good. In my eyes very superior to Kicker. Kicker is going to beat pretty good however if its sound quality get yourself some alpine type x's...a little expensive but worth every penny. A buddy of mine has 1 12" in his trailblazer and its a great balance with his Highs...they need power though. he has an apline 1000 watt monoblock going just to that. Another brand that is synonimis with quality is focal. That brand is VERY expensive but OO so nice on the ears.
