well thats why you get insurance when you get stuff off the internet....local places are almost just as bad with warranties and stuff.I would still get something off the internet just for the fact that alot of this stuff is better quality and cheaper cause your not paying almost half just cause of the mainstream name.

well 170$ is pushin it a little i was lookin to get 2 , unless somethin that is 170$ could outperform 2 10's which i kno is veeery possible lol itd help with some links i dont kno the brands u r talkin about thanx 4 the replies

well thats y i came here first....their main goal is to get an uneducated audio person like me to spend the most amount of money lol they bombard me with confusing terminology and pressure with their beaty eyes gleaming with commission in mind lol im jus tryin to get an idea so i got some ammo in my arsenal to defend against the sales people with some real life experience... not with wats written on the sales tag

i know a guy that had 4 of those in a prelude and a civic (same guy, 2 different cars) with 5000 watts rms going to them (1250 a sub) and it HUMMED. couldn't hardly stand to sit in it....but his were 12s too

if your just going for a starter system or something like that then i would go for the mtx then....depends on if you want a bit of bump now or ALOT of bump now.

That's what I was just about to suggest. I'm helping a buddy build a system right now, and we ran across that deal - $179 for 2x 12" Infinity Perfect 12.1's is an incredible deal. I'm sure even Marty will agree.
