i'm wondering if i even need to run a fuse from the switch to the power source because i used my amp as my power source which already runs a fuse to the battery
i have my trunk LEDs set up the same way and i dont have a fuse between the LEDs and the amp, its kind of a bad idea but i have a fairly small fuse between the battery and the amp, so i think it'll blow before my LEDs do. Like addiction said though, its added security for cheap, so if you're worried about buy the $3 fuse/block and install it, but its not necesarry IMO.

Put it this way, I owe my life (ok maybe thats a bit extreme, I owe my neons) to a $2 fuse that I managed to blow when I was installing them. For how much they are, they are sooo worth it. As the saying goes "Id rather pack heat and not need it rather than need heat and not have it". That 1 time in 100 when you do need a fuse and dont have one, you will regret it.

Edit: Neons is used in the collective term to generalise all interiorlights consisting of both cold cathode and LED.

Yea the DIY is good but I think its a bit too brief for the amount of information covered. I think a little more detail would have helped.

Damn what else should I have put in?

1. Disassembly of the dash and all.
2. ?????

Let me know.

well if your looking into any just QUICK/EASY light bulb changes then this is a good place to buy...
http://www.superbrightleds.com/

BUT if ya can do some wiring yourself this is the BEST place to buy from.......
http://www.oznium.com/

oznium is usualy the most recomended place cause of thier sweet @ss products and customer service! but you do need alittle wiring knowedge....
but with the superbrightleds site they are more for just pull out stock bulb and insert new led bulb units. great for the beginers or just the lazy people
