Default METRA 99-7897 install kit

anybody know if this will fit in a 2004 civic and allow me to keep the bottom pocket? I haven't disassembled the dash; is the pocket and the stereo 2 seperate parts?

Anyone know how this looks compared to the one shipped from Crutchfield (003HONK809)?

I have a 2003 civic and I'm going to be installing a head unit soon. I'm just looking for the best match to the plastic molding that is already there... also I'd prefer to keep the little pocket under the stereo.

Anyone have suggestions on what kit to use?

Any opinions on which one matches the trim best?

Do either of them look "cheap?"

the metra one is going to be allot more professional looking . if you add a kit on top of the OEM pocket you can tell the difference
