Default Multichannel amp

with a multichannel amp, my friend wants to run his subs, front speakers, and deck speakers, how does the wattage work on splitting up between the channels or is full power pumped through all channels?

If hes going to do the trinity setup I would recommend a 5 channel amp. Power is distributed very well with most of them. Normally they are aimed at the audiophile who wants simpllicity. Picture a typical big 4 channel amp. Remove the cover and youll see two small 100 wat amps and a larger at 150+ . That wasnt in literal terms but the big picture is that is 3 amps.

MTX
Pheonix Gold (one of the most power full 5 channel Ive seen in awhile)
Alpine

MTX is the best all around bang for the buck. Ive installed one before and was happy with the response.

The planet audio VX6005 is a bullit proof chunk. Another good one ins the crossfire705D The 5th channel is class D, and its got a small foot print. If you want the best get an Xtant 603x.
