well its the 92-95 civic 4door sedans... tho they WILL have to have custom work done to make them fit... BUT the differnce is the WHOL ARMS..... with most the coupes and such they have those LONG arms with those cross bars.... so when ya close the trunk lid those arms come down and can be a HUGE PITA in cosmetics when doing a stereo setup as well as crushing any groceries ya put into your trunk and close the trunk lid arms with.LOL

the difference is they are like typical hinges that have gas shocks on them.... wish i could find a picture of them but i cant right now

well finaly found one BUT IT SUCKS super small

ok well as you can see i searched alittle harder. LOL
those hinges look SO MUCH CLEANER with a nice stereo setup!
tho ya cannt do the flip flop trunk with them.LOL

but i dont see how it would be to difficult to make them fit!
i wish i could find someone with a 92-95sedan that would take some large pictures of thier hinges.... but ive never had anyone help me out

ya. its just one of those custom touches that can realy clean up the instal....

i believe it took me like a week of after work building to build the setup for my 99.

ive been meaning to rebuild it but with my 94civic i just havent had the time..... with my next build i want to fiberglass the spare tire whell and use it as part of the encloser and spread the box out towards the sides more so i can keep more trunk space.... im also going to try to make the remainder of the trunk space large enough to fit my fullsize spare rim with a tire on it.... or if it wont fit at least a donute tire....

i didnt realy measure out the setup at all with my first build, preaty much got a picture in my mind and cut piece by piece just winging it along till i got to the subwoofer box itself then i actualy planed it out of course and then just swung with the rest of it

heres mine.

and i just cut the carpeting with a razor to kinnda hide the trunk lid arms alittle bit...

tho i did redue the backalittle bit with my new amplifier, tho the amplifier rack has bent over the mdf now so it doesnt lay angled anymore

A2B yours looks so clean, I like the smoked tail lights and the slits in the carpet for the arms too.

thanks.. tho i dont have the smoked tails anymore..... i removed them to redue my clear portion lights and the cost of all the flexstripLEDs i need is kinda high figured id spend about 120-140bucks in just extra lights.... and since i got my 94 project all my moneys been going towards it. BUT when ever i do buy the lights i already have the taillights baked apart so i just have to glue the lights in and wire them up
then ill have smoked taillights that are still VERY safe to drive with during the brightest days AND it will look good

just another one of those.... WANT TO DOs...... and not enough money...
