every time my bass hits the cd skips and it is beging to get anoying because i cant play the cds... does anyone have this problem or any suggestions on fixing it?

Unless you have a really loud system or a really old CD player... its something other than the bass making it skip.

Definitely has to be the player. I've got a cd changer mounted a few inches above a bass box with 2 Jl subs in it and it never skips. Could be the player needs to be cleaned or maybe replaced.

yea i think it may need to be cleaned because if i hit the bumps hard to it skips aswell
