Hey, </P>

</P>

In my civic I have 2 Kicker CompVR 03CVR124's and a Rockford Fosgate Punch 801x amp. </P>

It isn't the greatest thing in the world but it does the job. I'm probably gonna take it down to just one sub because with both of them it gets really loud due to lack of space. </P>

Plus you'll make your car faster, weight reduction baby! I don't know the wattage your running, but its better to give a single sub all the power it needs to sound its best than to underpower 2 subs that won't be playing at their peak abilitybecause their isn't enough juice to keep them happy. Go for quality, not quantity, that's what I say. <edited><editID>USDMED3</editID><editDate>38094.0361574074</editDate></edited>

yea quality over quantity for sure. i used to run a mtx thunder 8000 with a rf punch 360a2(i cant remember exactly) in my old jeep. had all the power goin to the 1 sub and it sounded fngreat. now im more into the sound of the car over the loud stereo but a nice audio setup is a sweet thing. i gotta replace my speakers they are somewhat blown and crap.

I have a Clarion 10" in a subbox and a Sony Xplode<IMG src=smileys/smiley9.gif border="0"> 1000 watt amp waiting to go in my SI. I used to have it in my 240SX and for one sub, it rocked. I had a DEHP-900R head unit and a 12 cd changer, too. The changer came out, but the head unit went with the Sivia. Any suggestions for a good Pioneer head unit to control the cd changer and sub?

Any of the Premier line should do the trick, really. I'm putting the DEH-P560mp in my car on Friday after a good recommendation from a friend running a similar setup in a 93 240sx.

I have a ? abt powering speakers. Currently I have a JL Audio VR525-CSi component set that is rated at 15-100 watts per speaker. I want to get the JL Audio 300/2 amp which is 150 x 2. Is this too much power for these speakers?</P>
