Default navigation system

anyone here do anything special with their aftermarket navigation systems that do not just simply sit up on the dashboard? i'm looking to get a magellan, and would like to mount it around my console somewhere. Thanks.

I would look into a tomtom or garmin. Believe me, you'll be sad you went with a magellan instead of either one of those brands. How much are you looking to spend.

Only reason I am going Magellan is because my friend can get me 40% off any Magellan unit I want. Kind of makes it hard to turn down. I"m looking in the ballpark of $500. You think I can find one small enough to fit in the spot that the CD payer sits in? If I can that would most likely be my best option, and put the CD player by the cup holder.
