Default Need Help installing Valentine V1 in a 2005 Honda Civic

I just got the valentine V1, I have absolutely no idea how to install it or where to even begin, and the instructions really don't help out much. If anyone has any suggestions, how-to's, or other websites that could help me out that would be awesome. If any of you have tips and have AIM/AOL my sn is Aslan817.

it can be pretty loud, it has a volume **** on it so if you are listening to the music loud you can turn it up, and if the beep is just annoying you can turn it down. yea I have no idea how to install this thing and i really don't wanna pay to install it myself.

Im actually pissed because I spent $400 on the unit and it didnt even come with a cigarette outlet plug-in, that's like buying PS3 or Xbox 360 and it not coming with a controller

so if it comes with a suction cub then mount it below your rear view mirror that's the best place especially if your coming up a hill and the cops on the other side

if it has a hard wire kit and not a cigarette lighter then you'll have to hook it up by hardwiring it in your car , not hard on your civic

easiest place to wire it into would be the fuse box.... every vehicle always has a few empty slots. mine has 2 or 3 extra ports just conect a female spade terminal onto the spade male conections and use a inline fuse and jus run the wires where ever ya need to....
tho i just wired my radar dector into my cigerate lighter wires cause it already turns off with the ignition

i just have it wired behind it to hide the wires.

yea I hate wires, is there anyway to like pop off the sidepaneling above the door so i can run the wire underneath there and have my radar on the visor? or is that like rediculously hard.

yes there is you can take the A pillar off and run the wires behind that so from your visor to the A pillar to the side panel , make sure you place a fuse on it
