I want to re-wire my licence plate neon cover to a switch on the middle console [because right now it comes on with my headlights and the cops dont like that very much ] and I want to get a switch that will fit in these holes that are already there, I called a honda garage and I looked online and couldn't find any. Does anyone happen to know where I can find some that fit? Thanks

any switch will work, just head to the store with that little cap and look around, i would just pick up some of these

you just need to drill the hole and pop them in
..i had my switchs in thos spots before but i had the rocker switchs so i had to cut a square in the plastic, looked like hell, the circle ones are easy to cut, as long as you have a drill, clean and simple

 

thanks, those covers just pop out, so I wouldn't need to drill or cut would I?

ahhhh i get what your saying now, something factory..i dont even no if theres factory switchs for that spot, i dont think so..you would have to make a little tempate of the hole and bring it to the store and see what switch has the same size base so it would fit snugg

 

I think I will try that but if I absolutely can't find one that fits then I will get one that is a little smaller maybe and cut the plug to fit, I just like the style of those switches better.

 

Went to Advance Auto Parts and got 2 switches and some 18 gauge wire to rewire my stuff with, should be a good weekend project. Thanks for the help guys. [Pict isn't very good but I used my crappy camera]

i am having that same problem. i havea 2003 civic lx 2dr and i want a swtich for my fog lights to fit right in that hole, but i dont like those ugly looking toggle switches, i like the ones u have pictures that u got at advanced auto aprts how did that work out, and how did u cut the hole in the mounting peice that was in the hole ebfore the swtich was in.

 

No I had to cut out a hole for them, its not hard at all and I like them so I guess it worked out, I will get a picture of one of the switches installed in a min.
