Default Need some help bad with my stock head unit (98 EX)

Hi, i've been reading this forum for a while, some great advice, but I'm out of luck and need some help.

Yesterday I decided to finally take the plunge and strip my 98 EX coupe so I could hardwire my passport x50,
install/hardwire my XM reciever, and swap head units.

A while ago, knowing that the keyless runs through my head unit, I got an aftermarket deck installed and had the stock
unit shoved back into the dash

the deck worked fine, but started getting hotter than hell about a year ago. I decided it was time for it to go, and
since i have the XM now i don't really need it anymore. So i decided to bring the stock head unit back.

We hardwired everything, snipped all the right wires, and had everything working PERFECTLY.

then we go to put it all back together . . . . .

and the deck stops working.

All of the cables are ok, the dash panel fuses are fine. Everything else works perfectly.

So what could possibly be wrong?

Thanks for any help.
