actually i am in a band and i have played alot of concerts and they have speakers behind u and to the side too

theres about an even amount of speakers everywhere

becuase the spakers on the guitarist and bassists amplifier aren't being used..or are barely turned on at all...they are either plugged into the PA system and being put throught eh big spekaers all over the place or they are on very quitley with a mic right next to the speakers...which doesn't sound as good....

but there are usually as small venues like 2 speakers on stage facing the audience one monitor facing each of the band members and then one spakers to each side and one to the back, or hanging on the cieling or something

Every concert I been to just about has speakers coming from the stage? I've also seen lots of live concerts on TV where there is not noticble speakers in the back and if there is it is like having an unamped rearfill because there are so many speakers up front.

actually i just went to a taking back sunday concert 2 weeks ago
and they had the spakers on stage as usual and thenthey had alot of spekars on the ceiling about halfway down the open floor facing down

Have you tried fading to the front? In the Civics stock system if I fade to the front I barley tell an audible difference.

This is a person who can hear the difference between $250 and $1250 fronts and justify spending the money on them, and you cant hear the difference when you fade to the front? Maybe as part of your inbuilt psycho subliminal instincts with your vandetta against rear speakers, you accidentally unplugged them one night in your sleep and so you cant hear them when you fade. Or maybe you have them mounted in the front and centre of the dash to give you 'perfect' front stage audio set up and as a result, you actually cant tell when you fade cause all the speakers are in the front anyway!

Done it in my car, and as you said, a big difference because I have got my 100Ws in the back and I havnt put my new fronts in yet. No rear fill. So I did it in another car, with bigger fronts than rears. And again, it lacks rear fill. And at the same time, sit in the back and try it. Like I said, I always have passangers and the difference in the back is heaps.
And mate, I dont hate you, but you do say some rediculios things some times. Infact, I was even going to propose that between you and I, we could write a DIY on selecting car audio equiptment because you know your stuff generally. But its just your personal vandetta against rear speakers that is losing you kudos in my book because its a stupid concept and while there is a little truth in what you say, you are taking it all too far. A good sound system has got good rear fill and all round sound. Not just a centre dash sound stage.
