w00t! Happy Birthday by the way, I didn't ever see anything around that would hint to it.

Now it's idiot time, what's a/d/s stand for?

Im 20 now. That might surpirse a lot of members.

A/D/S is one of the best car audio companies in the world. No, this isnt a typical "oh man they're the best, trust me" kinda thing. They are the serious real deal. Most of their speakers dont grace anything less of a 5 series, then go up.

When you got high end cars, you got high end factory systems. And to 1 up the systems, you gotta whip out the big bucks. Just to barely accomplish better sound quality for an already good stock system. Some speakers can cost you so much ($4k for example) that you might as well (and its been done may times) hire an engineer to get in your car and literally tweak it with all sorts of hi-tech equipment to make it a unique or a psuedo environment as if it were god intended them to be made for the damn car .

Oh, it stands for analog digital systems, and the company is British. For those of you who dont know your $h!t, the brits dont play when they make a speaker.

Ooooo, they look fancy. Never hear of them before.

What are you going to run them with? All I see on the site are speakers.

I was under the impression that A/D/S was manufactured out their in cali with the rest of the directed line? Also which line are you looking at that costs $4k, my directed dealer quoted me $400 for the 3 series.
