He'll be just fine if he runs two subs at 4 ohms with that amp.

oh wow i cant believe i just did it!!! i wired both of them at 1 ohm i think? all i know is it works and it sounds excellent. i did what you told me , addiction2bass, and drilled hoes in the back of the box and then used liquid nails to seal it up. thats a really great idea, way better than using the wiring terminal. thanks so much for your help guys, it was greatly appricaited and it beats the hell out of taking it someplace and paying for it when i can do it myself (with the help of HCF) for FREE!

i also have a d2400 that i was trying to sell b/c i didnt think itwas powerful enought, its is rated for one ohm though..would you guys reccomend using this amp instead? http://www.drdetailshop.com/dd2400.htm
1200W x 1
@ 1 ohm
that amp would be a total waste of those subs!.....
but if your gonna push your amp at 1ohm then definatly watch your voltage!!!!

i would recomend a orion D5000
http://cgi.ebay.com/ORION-HCCA-D5000...QQcmdZViewItem
tho that price is kinda alittle high...
or buy two orion D2400 and strap em together
http://cgi.ebay.com/ORION-HCCA-D2400...QQcmdZViewItem

the type Xs should be able to handle them easily....
