Ok Now I HAve everything hooked up... i have the rca's outputfrom the subs amp to the rca's imputof the 6x9's amp.... everything else just hooked up... now i tryed it out and i have my cd player very low volume.. and all that really comes out of the 6x9's is bass... over volume 2 sounds like they will blow up from bass... u can here lil bit of vocal but no treble... im guessin i have to tune it diffrent or maybe cuz im runnin the output of the subs to the input of the other amp???? what do i need to do to get Sick music out of the 6x9's without bass???? please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

try the mono settings on the amp

 

although i'm not to sure if i am readin that right ahah but i think thats what youd have to do. im a little confused about your prediciment but haha meh thats what i can suggest from what i understand of your description ahha sorry

 

Need more info bro, but... U have the RCA input on the 6x9 amp comming from the RCA out from the sub amp?Try running the RCS input for the 6x9 amp straight from the head unit.If your head unit only has one RCA out then try running your subampout ofyour 6x9 amp with the low pass filter on.

yeah man i say check the gain and other settings on the amp, turn them down in between a quarter and half. or maybe the bass on theHU is set high?

 

Nope, Nope, No And No..... i talk to Peoplez in other forums,.. and they gave me the idea that my amp is maybe Subwoofer Only.... meaning only pushes out bass,, from what i could see... and what i have done,... its the only this possible... on the box for where the speaker wire goes it says (Subwoofer Only)... thats a clue... and also they said 1 channel mono amps are usually Bass, Subwoofer only.... Anyone Need My Amp hehehe Gotta Get a new 1.... Anyone selling a 4 channel amp that will work 4 my 6x9;s and 6 1/2's??????? thanx all!

 

...I've never heard of a subwoofer only amp...what kind of amp did you get?
