in the bottom of the trunk always looks pretty clean and everything but if you dont have the right amount of airspace there then i would rather have them somewhere else and sound better.I think in the corners with the subs would look pretty clean with the amp where the spare tire space is....i dont know just my .02

i like the idea of one in each back corner...
if i ever do 2 small subs thats how id do it....

preaty easy to build.... do the basic frame outta MDF and then fiberglass around the back wall and other areas to get a nice contor

One thing I suck with is layouts, obviously from my car :-)

If I had to do something custom, i would probably get me some wood, and cut it to fit the entire trunk, carpet it, cut some lead holes in certain places, try to find 2 split boxes that face the trunk, drop the amp down into the wood a little, maybe plexi over it and neon the whole thing, but mount a fan somewhere under the plexi so the amp gets good airflow. Thats my idea, it won't be a reality for some time, I don't have the tools :-(

even so ive heard mixing sub sizes also tends to cancle eachother out...

i advice matching all 4 same size! 4 10s or 4 12s... i dont like the idea of mixing...

I heard a dude with a blazer once with 4 10's and 2 15's, it was pretty damn loud, but thats a blazer none the less, lots of echo room.

I agree though, I would prolly rather run 4 10's then anything, they would bust your windows out if wired/amped right.
